DSL Service
| DSL or "Digital Subscriber Line" is a broadband connection that is always on. It comes to your location over phone lines. "Distance" is a crucial factor in determining speed and quality. The further away you are from the C.O. "Central office", the lower the quality and speed. That is why DSL is not available at a reliable rate to everyone. DSL does have advantages over Cable because cable is "Node" based meaning that the more people in your neighborhood or area where the cable connection is made the more likeliness you will experience a speed or quality issue. |
